We had a Texas themed party for Jaja. It helped that the church vbs theme was western and that we had left bbq brisket from vbs family night! Instead of cake we had an amazing ice cream sundae bar.

It showed how many people grew to love Jaja over her year here. She had the little kids that was in her choir class in church that she helps with on Wednesday night. Family friends came to help setup and enjoy the time with Jaja. Class-mates and teens from the church completed the large group of attendees.

For the first hour and half it was tear-free, then it seemed like the next hour and half was tear-filled!
