This summer Raigan has been playing a little summer basketball. We got a team together and have been playing in Frisco. We have bee playing in an older division. We have experienced some ups and downs playing some really good teams, hard fought losses, and even three wins spread out in there. But the girls have played a lot more basketball and have improved. I have seen each of them grow this summer and that is the reason we played. It was a good thing for these girls to play together. In our local league these girls have always been spread between three teams. They have been "opponents" but have never been teammates. So it was good for the girls to play together. Raigan has never been on a basketball team with her friend Molly, except for this summer. It was so much fun to have both of these girls playing together. They have a connection from playing 8 seasons of soccer as teammates that even transfers to the basketball court.  I was very proud of all of the girls, and appreciate Robin Gade for being the assistant and head coach for when I was out of town.
