There are two VA girls basketball teams in the 2nd Grade. Both coaches are good friends of ours and both daughters play on our soccer team.  For one of the coaches this was the first time to coach, and her husband could not make the practice times. Both of these teams practiced together to begin the season. So when I would be there to drop Kerrigan off at the practice at the beginning of the season, I was asked for advice and help a little with practice. That built a little each practice, and I was asked before the first game "can you stick around and help at the game". Through this process I have been helping the team that Kerrigan is not on! Last week, I had several people after the game wonder about which one was my daughter on the court. I answered , "oh she is on the other team."

So this week, it was Servati vs Servati.  The game ended in a tie, but at their age they choose five people to shoot freethrows. In the end, it was Daddy's team that won this time. Kerrigan played very well in the game. She made two points (out of six) and had some great defense and rebounds.
