It is now week two of the basketball season. 

The opening game was a close one, it was 9-9 with about a minute and a half to go, and Sydney Gade made a freethrow followed by Hannah Smith breaking to the goal and scoring a layup to pull out the win 12-9.

Our second game, again was a tight contest until the fourth quarter. In the fourth qtr you can begin guard players full court (compared to starting at half court). In that last frame our "attack" pressure defense pushed the team to a strong 22-13 win.

Raigan plays point guard for our team. She confident ball-handler despite being one of the tallest on the team. She looks up and sees the court, and makes some great passes. She is still working on "finding" her shot this year, she had six points today but missed some really easy ones. See the picture below of Mother and Daughter during halftime working on the layups.
