Dallas Christmas Parade
A family tradition restored, after missing last year because of the Soccer Tournament of Champions, we made it back to the parade this year. We have been attending the parade since 2003. We were joined by family friends: Mikulastiks: Tonie, Molly and Gunner; Dunkerson's: Jan, Jodi, and Callie and Autumn Hood came with Kerrigan.
We left this morning from VA at 6:30am. We arrived at the parade route at 8am. Two hours prior to the start of the parade. You have to do that to get good seats, they said there were 350,000 at the parade! We got a great spot along the route, we were right on the curb! The girls loved the large inflatable's, and the characters riding in cars. We also made our traditional stop at the Servati favorite restaurant: Chuy's (Now In Plano!). We had a great day and made it home for the longest recorded nap by the Servati family, 3.5 hours.
