This weekend U10 Van Alstyne Kickers (Raigan's team) secured the soccer league championship. This was the third season in a row that the team has finished at the top. This season was the hardest of the three, and were helped along the way by another team beating the team that beat us. Four teams were separated by only on point in the standings.  The top of the league are only separated from one or two plays in games. The winner of the league could have been easily one of 4 teams. We are proud of our girls, not for winning, but for improving and practicing hard throughout the season.

The winner of the league earns a spot to represent Texoma Soccer Association  at the Tournament of Champions. This tournament is played on Dec 1-2 at various fields in the Dallas metroplex. Teams from as far and wide as Texarkana to Amarillo, and south to Waco will be playing. Each association sends one team to represent in this large and very competitive tournament. In looking at last years webpage there were 53 teams in the U10 division! We found out yesterday that we will play the top teams from: Rowlett, Arlington, and North Dallas!
