I took some students and my two soccer girls to the FC Dallas game tonight. Before the game the girls got to go down and help hold the oversized FC Dallas jersey that covers the midfield as the players were being announced. A guy from FC Dallas contacts youth league soccer coaches about bringing teams and families to the games. I am actually nice to the guy, compared to some and he invited my girls to come down on the field.

One of the other pluses was that it just happened to be Juan Toja wig night. Juan Toja is a player for FCD from Columbia. He has become a fan favorite, and he has a distinctive hairstyle, a mullet.  FYI - the mullet is still alive and well in South America, and especially popular with soccer players.
