This past weekend was a crazy soccer weekend for the Servati's. Raigan's team entered the Mckinney Soccer Tournament. We had the largest number of teams in her age bracket, 16. They divided us into four groups or pools. We tied the first game 1-1, won the next two 4-2 and 2-0. That put us in the top 8 teams that advanced to the next day of competition. We won the first game 1-0, which put us in the top four, where we would stay. We replayed the team that we tied to in the first game and eventually lost 2-1. We then lost again in the consolation game to the top McKinney team 2-1.

It was a weekend of intense competion with the games being so close in score. It was amazing to watch different players on our team each step up in different games. It was not the same person scoring in every game, we are a well rounded group of players. We played six games in two days, when we played seven games this spring in seven weeks!

We finished with the fourth place trophy. We were very proud of the accomplishment. This was our first time to enter a tournament. So this means in Recreational League play our team is 18-2-3 (Wins - Losses - Ties)  for the 2006-07 season.
