Tuesday Update
We talked to the doctor and we are looking at a release date of Friday. We are unaware of what time on Friday, but talking about a day is uplifting. The main thing that they want is to complete seven days of antibiotics. She is being weened off of the oxygen tubes, and making sure that she is eating properly. Right now she is getting used to breast feeding, but she is eating more from bottle and the feeding tube through her nose.
Kailan and I (griff) are catching up on our nap times that we have been missing. I got to lean back in a chair and have her sleep on my chest for about an hour.
We have been truly blessed with the concerns of people for us and of course Kailan. I know that there were over 100 hits on the picture album yesterday alone! I know that many have called and talked to us. There are times that we cannot talk and have to let you get my annoying voice mail message. We are not to use cell phones back in the ICU, so that is the main time that we cannot accept calls. I have used my cell phone more in the last week than ever before, especially text messages!
Yay! Prayers have been answered! It is so good to hear that little Kailan is doing better. Amy has kept me updated. We are still praying for her and yall. We love you and can't wait to meet her in person!

Griff, great news Bud! It's a real relief to hear. Hope everyone else is doing well and hopefully getting at least a little sleep.

Just wanted to say how much I love you guys-and Congratulations! I'm so glad that our beautiful baby girl is doing better-I have been praying for her everyday-and can't wait to meet her-she is truly a precious gift from God and has such an amazing-blessed family to come home to!
