This has been an amazing journey that Kailan has taken us on! One of the ways is just seeing the miracles around us. To see the babies throughout the ICU, as we walk to our little back corner has been an educational experience.

In the waiting room of the NICU, it is easy to start a conversation about each person's baby. I just talked to a mother who had twins, the boy was fine, and the girl has had all of the trouble. She has been near death too many times to count, several surgeries, but thankfully now is doing great. They were born on Nov 28! This is the norm for this part of the hospital. We are very thankful for the people that have provided care for Kailan, and all of the babies in this hospital.
