Today has been a great day that is showing that we have turned the corner. Kailan has moved to having tubes in her nose that is sending normal air. She is out of the warmer type of bed to a hospital bassinet. She is being fed on a tube to her stomach that breast milk. Her breathing is much better, instead of constantly being fast it is intermitant.

The doctors are still unsure what the cause to this problem was. They have outruled an enlarged liver and kidney. She has an enlarged tube that connects the bladder and kidney. This is something that more children have, but never know because they do not have a sonogram. It could have been an infection that could have turned worse if we would not have been here. We are definately moving in the right direction, but at the same time they will make sure that this runs it's course.
