Am I smarter than a third grader?

Well I think we all know the answer to that one. After seeing Kailan for the first time and seeing the tubes in her nose Raigan asked me if she was getting food through that tube. I responded, "would you like for me to feed you through your nose?" Raigan said, "oh, you are right, dont tell anyone that I asked that."

About thirty minutes later I was back in the NICU and they were discussing feeding Kailan through a tube. They said that they might put it through her mouth, but more likely the tube would enter through her nose.

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby girl!!! Have faith and take a good look at Nathan. He had "respiratory distress" when he was born. Yeah, they didn't know what caused it or really anything. Watching him breathe and listening to him grunt to slow it down was distressing to say the least. He had to endure the same treatments as Kailan and I didn't think he'd ever be a strong as Matthew. Silly me. God's gifts are amazing. I'm still in awe. May God bless you all and give you strength and patience while you watch Kailin grow stronger.
