Last night I came home to do a couple of things. I had planned to head back to the hospital, but the two hours of sleep caught up with me. I crashed on the couch for 12 hours, and feel much better! Jaidan slept right by me the whole time. I woke up to her hugging her daddy, I guess she knew what I needed. Kristi's and her mom, stayed in the family room in the NICU last night. It is a small pull out couch bed, but much better than a waiting room.

The doctor has said there is still fluid on Kailan lungs, and that we are looking at around seven days of antibiotics. She is still struggling and working to breath. She had thought about putting her on a ventilator last night, so that she could rest and not work so hard. But, they read the clues that she gives them. One of the clues was that she pulls on the tubes in her nose. It shows that she is not giving up and still it fighting!
