I coach Raigan's basketball team of 3rd and 4th graders. We are a very good team of fast girls, but we are the smallest team in the league. Today we played another VA team and it was tied with 10 seconds, and Maddie Horn came up with a steal and drove the length of the court, she was on the right side of the court by the freethrow line when the other team cut her off. She passed to Raigan standing in the middle of the lane. She turned and banked it in. The other team got to the other end of the court and we fouled with .4 seconds remaining! They converted the first of the 1&1 and barely missed the second shot. We ended up winning by the score of 14-13!

We also had a dramatic game the week before where we won by the score of 2-0. Maddie Horn scored in the third quarter and that was the only score of the game.
